The Atlas® Air Force AF4 air compressor utilizes a 3 cylinder single stage pump as compared to the 2 cylinder pump of the Atlas® Air Force AF3. The AF4 also comes standard with a slightly more efficient motor than the AF3. This allows the Atlas® AF4 to produce air faster for the shop operater who cannot wait. The no-load recovery time of the AF4 is twice as fast as the AF3 (only 1 minute and 40 seconds).
