5 stage filtration includes: 1) 40 micron sintered bronze element. 2) Oil removing activated charcoal 3) sintered bronze filter seperates charcoal from desiccant. 4) desiccant beads lower the dew point to -30 deg. F. 5) 40 micron sintered bronze filter prevents desiccant dust from entering the system. The unit comes with a safety guard. A particulate pre filter is recommended to assure proper desiccant life. When the beads change from blue to pink, simply remove/replace the old cartridge. This unit is recommended to be used with a refrigerated dryer or in smaller, low volume shops.
